Ageless - Remarkable
St. Louisans

Ageless—Remarkable St. Louisans is a special way of honoring dynamic older adults who remain an active force in the St. Louis metropolitan area. Older adults are often stereotyped as frail, unproductive members of our society. So, in 2003, St. Andrew’s Resources for Seniors created a unique way in which to recognize the continued achievements of those who have made and continue to make such a difference in our lives.

The Ageless–Remarkable St. Louisans Gala Celebration has become a magnificent platform, drawing over 700 people with the goal to:

  • Recognize the achievements of St. Louis’ most dynamic citizens who just happen to be 75+.
  • Transform, enhance and improve the image of aging and older adults.
  • Increase awareness of St. Andrew’s and generate funding to help low-income and at-risk seniors.

November 14th, 2010, will mark the eighth year of Ageless—Recognizing 20 additional St. Louisans 75 years and better.  The nominees are always diverse and outstanding: philanthropists, volunteers, business people, teachers, media notables, sports greats, community leaders, and other seniors who continue to make a difference in the lives of others.
