Health concerns, lack of proper nutrition, safety and other age related issues face our older adults everyday.
This is especially true of those with limited resources. Reading the article about poverty among our elders was shocking while at the same time reinforced what we see everyday.
Elders struggling to meet just basic needs in why we work so hard to raise fund to provide care and support. However, we need everyone to be more aware of the issues facing those who have chartered our path and help to advocate, support and provide care to those in need.
They deserve our care and compassion.
