Scam-Free: It’s the way to be

“Smishing.”  What the heck is that?  I thought I heard of everything but now a new word is coming around.

One that we need to be more aware of its meaning.  “Smishing” is short for SMS technology that is used to send text messages. 

As more and more of us are using text messages as a form of communication along comes the Scam Artist using it to Scam older adults.  We must be aware of this scam and inform all the seniors in our circle to never to reply to any text message that asks for personal information – NEVER!
