BRIDGETON, Mo. – Mizpah Manor hosted Senator Chappelle-Nadal recently with a tour and discussion on care trends. The tour lasted for an hour.
“Mizpah Manor is very comfortable, intimate and warm,” were the state senator observations about Mizpah. “I’ve always been very pleased with St. Andrew’s mission over the years.”
There are more than 25 long term care providers in the state senator’s district, several of which were added to the state senator’s oversight after Missouri’s recent redistricting.
The senator has advocated for seniors through SB 536 this year, a legislative bill that would require the Department of Health and Senior Services to come up with a plan to encourage licensed long term care providers in the state to keep families involved in the care of their loved ones. She also has personal ties to the senior care industry watching loved ones navigate the complexities of elder care.
“We thank the state senator for her genuine commitment to seniors in her district,” said Maureen Dunn, operations director for St. Andrew’s Management Services, who lead the Chappelle-Nadal’s tour on Friday.
