It is not uncommon to see families caring for their older parents, relatives, or friends as well as their own children. These family caregivers worry, have many concerns and are no doubt feeling stress. Often, the communication provided by a St. Andrew's Geriatric Care Manager or an Eldercare Specialist is the answer. At St. Andrew's, we will:

consult with the family caregivers as often as needed
provide comfort and direction as well as consulting during difficult times
offer answers and solutions so family caregivers are better informed regarding the care of their parents or aging loved one
assist with placement services is the need for a higher level of care if necessary
link the family caregivers to community resources that can assist and meet needs
